JoAnna Conte is an artist of visionary paintings and imaginative creature creations. She runs the Imagine Art Barn in Cerrillos, NM that hosts monthly Women's New Moon Gatherings, as well as other playshops and events. 

 

She has a MA in Art Therapy and Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM and a BFA degree in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

The imagine art barn is:

JoAnna built the Imagine Art Barn for her art studio, as well as for community art experiences like the Women's New Moon Vision Collage monthly gathering, group murals, music, and art.

Imagine Art is a guided meditation of art as therapy process. You can tune the first Friday of every month from 10am to 11am on KMRD.fm.

The intention of the radio show is to open space for art creation for you,  the radio listener at home. When listening, there is nothing you need to do except breathe and follow my voice like a story.

JoAnna Conte is a puppet maker. She served as Head of Props for Joe West's Theater of Death for the past six years, and has made many commissioned puppets for theater and film.
